Parametric Search Appliance

Catalog files can be uploaded via an FTP server on the Parametric Search Appliance. This, along
with Catalog Auto-Import (here) enables
automated updating of the content.
The FTP server can be enabled via the Enable FTP Server
setting (p.here). A valid login for the Parametric Search Appliance can be
used to log into the FTP server (see Accounts & Groups,
here).
On the FTP server, you'll see the following folder structure:
profiles/profileName/catalogData
Where profileName is the name of the profile you're working with. Files
can be uploaded to this catalogData folder inside the profile directory,
and they will be available for that profile's catalog imports.
