Enter a name for each Parametric Search field in the Name column. Field names must start with a letter, followed by alphanumerics or underscores, with a maximum length of 30. Field names are case-sensitive, though for clarity two fields may not have the same case-insensitive name. Reserved SQL keywords and internal table columns are also not permitted. To check whether your requested name is valid (without committing to creating it yet), just press Add More Fields, which in addition to expanding the form, also validates it: any errors will be printed in red next to the corresponding field.
Each field will be pre-configured to accept data from the same-name
meta data document field (i.e. HTML <META NAME>
field;
case-insensitive). This is for convenience in loading data, and can
easily be changed later. However, it may be useful to keep in mind
when naming fields, as naming them directly after the <META>
fields they will be loaded from may save config time later.
